What is Downlight Collar used for?
It protects the edge of the plasterboard from damage caused by spring clips.
BoscoLighting's Downlight Ceiling Protection Collar is a quick-and-easy solution designed to reinforce downlight cutouts in plasterboard ceilings. It allows safe removal for maintenance purposes.
It can effectively protect ceilings from damage caused by downlight spring clips during installation or maintenance.
The Collar is not visible from below and does not protrude through the cutout. It is a new easy-fit solution to install or remove downlights in a safe way.

Installation Instruction
How to install Downlight Collar?
1. Adjust the Downlight Collar to fit in required cutout. You can use scissor to cut off the petals.
2. Apply sticky dots at the back of the Downlight Collar.
3. Twist and push the Downlight Collar through the cutout.
4. Make sure the Downlight Collar sticks in place.
5. Grab the spring clips from underneath and hold them up.
6. Push the downlight into the Collar until you hear the clips snap into place. Done.
